General Rules of Eligibility for Admission into 2 years B.ED Programme :

As per the new NCTE regilations (recognitions and norms) 2014, B.Ed Course has enhanced its duration from one year to two years. As per new NCTE norms, eligibility for admission, a candidate must passed Bachelor Degree/Master Degree or equivalent in Arts/Science/Commerce, securing at least 50% marks or above from UGC recognized University.

Relaxation of marks for reserved category will be as per NCTE and Govt. rule i.e. 45% (for ST and SC candidates) only.

Admission forms will be issued from last week of June along with the prospectus. Properly filled up forms will be submitted to the college office on or before 10th July each year. Admission forms which are incomplete or not submitted within the stipulated time will be rejected without any intimation to the candidate concerned.

In case of the students passing from other than Rajiv Gandhi University, original migration certificate or cash deposite challan against migration certificate must be produced on the day of admission, failing which admission will be treated as cancelled. Further, candidates have to submit the same in original within 45 days from the date of admission.

Number of seats as limited by NCTE is 100(institute is having 2 basic unit of 50 each). In-service teachers or teachers deputed from/working in different secondary schools of Arunachal Pradesh, will be given preference. However, they will have to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from thecompetent authority. 

  1. 2 photocopies with attestation of Certificates and Mark Sheet of all examination passed till date(Call-X onwards).
  2. 2 photocopies of Registration Card(for students passed from Rajiv Gandhi University).
  3. Migration Certificate in original (for students from ther University/State).
  4. 2 photocopies of Caste Certificate.
  5. 3 copies of recent passport six=ze photograph.
  6. No Objection Certificate (for in-service teachers).
  7. Service proof document for example, Service ID, Salary drawn statement, etc., for in service teachers.

Candidates will be selected purely on merit on following basis:

a. 3 seats are reserved for candidates having good track record in extra co-curricular activities like games and sports, NSS, Music, etc.

b. 2 seats are reserved for SC candidates.

c. 2 seats are reserved for physically challenged candidates.

d. 1 seat is reserved for OBC candidate.

e. 10 seats are reserved for in-service teachers

f. 10 seats are reserved for paid seats/candidate.

g. Rests are open to all.
